Hi Kevin,

thanks for the help! The old driver is working fine for me, so I stay with it for now.
However if there will be a E-816 compatible EPICS PIGCS2 driver in future, I would change to it.

I created a github issue for this:

I'm currently unable to email Steffen Rau for cybersecurity reasons that I don't understand.  He has told me in the past that he isn't able to access github due to proxy issues.  Given these communication difficulties, I would recommend using the old, non-PIGCS2 driver for now.
