If you have more than 16 options you can use a calc record and more than one mbbo.

?

?  I have four options, and mbbo did the trick. May I assume, that this is the intended way to implement such options (At least up to 16)?

Yes.  If there are only 2 options you can also use the bo/bi records.

How many options do you have? The mbbo record does this for up to 16 choices.

Subject: Masking values in combo boxes

Hi,

I have a longout PV, which sets the behaviour of my underlying server. The options are codified as integers. Now I would like to have a combo box with strings to "mask" the numeric values in cs studio phoebus. Should this rather be implemented in the widget or should this be implemented in the EPICS server, and if the letter, how could it be done?

Regards,

Patrick
