Hey all,
I have (again) two questions concerning Phoebus:
1) I'm using the Archive Engine from Phoebus to store data in a MySQL
database.
That works fine, but when I want to display the values in the data
browser I only get live data.
What I did: Open the data browser (Applications -> Display -> Data Browser)
Right click on the panel and select "Open Archive Search Panel"
I can see my own archive and add a PV from the list to the browser.
When looking at the new trace, it does not show an archive source. Only
life data is collected and shown.
These are my settings. Is something wrong with this?
org.csstudio.trends.databrowser3/urls=jdbc:mysql://192.168.0.1:3306/archive|RDB
org.csstudio.trends.databrowser3/archives=jdbc:mysql://192.168.0.1:3306/archive|RDB
org.phoebus.archive.reader.rdb/user=report
org.phoebus.archive.reader.rdb/password=pass
org.phoebus.archive.reader.rdb/stored_procedure=archive.get_browser_data
I'm using a read-only access to the database.
2) We are using the Elog from PSI (https://elog.psi.ch/elog/index.html)
and would like to be able to create new entries from Phoebus directly.
Although I'm usually programming C/C++ I have an idea how to implement a
new interface in Phoebus for this logbook. But the Elog only has to APIs:
One is a shell command, the other being a python lib. Is there some
recommendation, what is better to be used for Phoebus to create new
entries in our Elog?
Or, by any chance, has someone already worked on integrating the Elog
into Phoebus?
Best regards,
Florian
