As Mark says, it should be as simple as calling monitor() again.

I wonder though about the mention of 'multiChannel'.  While most PVA servers which support the
GET network operation on a given PV also support MONITOR, this is not required (though imo. it
should be).  So it is entirely possible for a custom PVA server not to implement the MONITOR
operation.  There is nothing a client can do about this.

Which PVA server is involved here?
