Hi Shuei,

Your rectangle is defined like this:

rectangle {
object {
x=10
y=50
width=120
height=30
}
"basic attribute" {
clr=53
}
"dynamic attribute" {
vis="if not zero"
calc="(A>0)"
chan="TEST:PV1"
}
}

You have a "calc" expression, "(A>0)". But you have selected vis="if not zero". I think that if you use a calc expression you should select vis="calc" instead.

I just tested and either is working OK with Centos7 on your visibility.adl screen. However, it is worth seeing if changing this fixes the problem for you on Scientific Linux 6.

Mark

Dear Mark,

> Can you post a very simple medm screen that shows the problem? Then we can try to reproduce it.

Attached adl file is a simple medm screen which I could reproduces the
problem on Scientific Linux 6. I am trying to make a simple adl file
to reproduce the problem on CentOS7, but unfortunately I couldn't so
far.

I investigated bit further and it seems that the problem emerges when
a) "text", "text update", and "rectangular with visibility" are placed
in a medm screen,
b) and the visibility PV is identical to text update PV,
c) and the visibility condition is true on medm startup.

Also I attached 2 screen shots, how one of our medm screens looks like
on CentOS7 (mainmag-NG.png) and how it is supposed to be
(mainmag-OK.png). Each box in the screen several rectangles and text
updates are superpositioned, and some of them are drawn as white box
or not drawn at all. There are about 500 rectangles and 400 PVs are
involved.

best regards,
Shuei
