What machine are you running the IOC on?  Is it the machine that is running the marccd software itself, or is it some other machine?


Have you tried saving a file using the marccd software itself, i.e. without using EPICS, to see if that works?


The marccd server logs all of the activity when it communicates with EPICS.  Have you looked at those messages for any errors?

Thank you very much for your reply. I tried to collect with /home/marccd, and /home/marccd/Documents, It still didn't work. The /home/marccd/Documents should have write permission, because we had written data in this fold before with BluIce.

&gt; You are telling marccd to save files to /home/.  I suspect that the marccd account does not have write permission to /home/.  Try writing to /home/marccd, or some other directory where marccd does have write permission.
