I have a simple IOC talking to an opc/ua simulation server using the open open62541 library.

I do not know how to identify an opc variable which is a member of an object except for displaying its numeric index on the server.

The object name is MyObject, the variable is MyVariable.

Saying:

field( INP, "@opcua1 num:123,2" )

works, because i determined the variable's index(2, in the above) on the server.

Saying:

field( INP, "@opcua1 str:123,MyObject.MyVariable" )

does not work but I could find nothing in the documentation that describes the syntax for this case.

I also tried MyObject:MyVariable without success.

Does anyone know the correct syntax?
