Subject: Archiver Appliance cluster deployment does not display identity of current node

Dear all,

Recently I have deployed Archiver Appliance as cluster in a test environment at CSNS, and encountered a situation that the MGMT metrics/storage pages do not display identity or info of the current node, instead they always show the alphabetically first identity in the cluster as well as info of this identity.

In the cluster deployment, I have two nodes named appliance_01 (10.1.236.142) and appliance_02 (10.1.236.143) what confused me in my test environment are as below,

(1) On MGMT metrics/storage pages, I cannot identify what is the identity of current node, appliance_01 or appliance_02.

(2) On MGMT metrics/storage pages, both nodes in the cluster are displayed, but the detailed info is always for the alphabetically first identity (appliance_01) instead of the current node.

(3) The Mgmt Uptimes for both nodes on appliances page are identical, which is weird.

Is this expected behavior? Am I doing something wrong?

The appliances.xml for both nodes is as follows,

 <appliances>

   <appliance>

     <identity>appliance_01</identity>

     <cluster_inetport>10.1.236.142:16670</cluster_inetport>

     <mgmt_url>http://10.1.236.142:17665/mgmt/bpl</mgmt_url>

     <engine_url>http://10.1.236.142:17666/engine/bpl</engine_url>

     <etl_url>http://10.1.236.142:17667/etl/bpl</etl_url>

     <retrieval_url>http://10.1.236.142:17668/retrieval/bpl</retrieval_url>

     <data_retrieval_url>http://10.1.236.142:17668/retrieval</data_retrieval_url>

   </appliance>

   <appliance>

     <identity>appliance_02</identity>

     <cluster_inetport>10.1.236.143:16670</cluster_inetport>

     <mgmt_url>http://10.1.236.143:17665/mgmt/bpl</mgmt_url>

     <engine_url>http://10.1.236.143:17666/engine/bpl</engine_url>

     <etl_url>http://10.1.236.143:17667/etl/bpl</etl_url>

     <retrieval_url>http://10.1.236.143:17668/retrieval/bpl</retrieval_url>

     <data_retrieval_url>http://10.1.236.143:17668/retrieval</data_retrieval_url>

   </appliance>

 </appliances>

The environment variable for each node in sampleStartup.sh is as follows,

10.1.236.142

export ARCHAPPL_MYIDENTITY="appliance_01"

10.1.236.143

export ARCHAPPL_MYIDENTITY="appliance_02"

Thanks,

Lin
