Hi Mark,

Actually there are only 8 "cannot find parameters" when using iocEiger2. Some error messages are repeated.

We have two Eiger detectors, one of Eiger1, and one of Eiger2. Both are using Simplon 1.8.0. I tried to read the 8 "cannot find parameters" from both detectors through Simplon.

Parameters not available in Simplons:         HV_RESET_TIME

Parameters only available in Eiger2 simplon:       THRESHOLD2, THRESHOLD1_ENABLE (threshold/1/mode),  THRESHOLD2_ENABLE (threshold/2/mode), THRESHOLD_DIFF_ENABLE (threshold/difference/mode), EXT_GATE_MODE (config/extg_mode),          

Parameters available from simplons of both detectors:        TRIGGER_START_DELAY,    HV_STATE  (status/high_voltage/state)    

So, except 2 of them, the others are indeed not available from our Eiger1 simplon interface. Not sure why the Trigger_start_delay and HV_state cannot be read.
