Subject: [EXTERNAL] CSS-Phoebus: Dynamically changing the contents of embedded databrowser
Hi,
hoping to find some Phoebus experts here to tell me if this is at all possible.
I have a Phoebus display, where a user can check a bunch of checkboxes to activate/deactivate indicators on a drawing of a chamber for a series of pressure, temperature, and
flow sensors. Now, I would like to also have an embedded databrowser there to display those PVs that are marked by checked checkboxes.
Is there a way to change, by using embedded scripts or by connecting to a PV, the contents of an embedded databrowser? Either by dynamically adding and removing PVs from it
or by hiding/showing PV traces, i.e., accessing the right-click runtime settings of the embedded databrowser?
I can load a different plt-file, by changing that property, but that requires previously created plt-files for all combinations of PVs to be displayed. I would like some other
way to manipulate the PVs displayed in an embedded databrowser window at runtime. Does that exist?
Thanks and cheers,
Malte
