Dear Han and the EPICS community,
I completed the EPICS 7.0.10 release process today after fixing a final issue with the Release Note generation. My apologies for the delay in getting this out. The tar file that was generated and published on February 5th remains unchanged, although the documentation
directory contents aren’t quite identical to the version on GitHub that was tagged as R7.0.10.
The changes in this release are documented in the
Release Notes, which include many nice enhancements to the IOC shell, libCom facilities, record types, documentation, and should make life slightly easier for our developers in the future. Many thanks to everyone who has contributed to this release.
The full set of documentation created from this release can be found
here.
For installation and use of published releases, we recommend downloading and building the tar file instead of checking out the tag from our GitHub repository. Links to the downloads are available
here or
here.

Hi Ralph,
Thank you for the update. I would be happy to help speed up the process if I can be of assistance. Please let me know what specifically needs to be done, and I will check my availability.
As I am trying to avoid unnecessary international travel this year, I won't be attending the Codeathon, but I hope you have a great time!
Best,
Han
I noticed that the R7.0.10 tag has been created on GitHub
However, I haven't seen any accompanying release notes or documentation.
Could someone please provide an update on the current status of this release?
Currently being released.
Tagging is done, tar files and generated documentation exist, but we had an issue with the generated documentation and want to double-check that it's fixed before finalizing.
Help is always welcome. See you at the Codeathon!
Cheers,
~Ralph
