Good, now we can focus on finding what is probably an actual, underlying, problem.

First, repeat these two while adding '-d'.  This will likely produce a lot of output.
If it gets too long, please send as an attachment.

Second.  Run:

> ./modules/pvAccess/examples/O.linux-x86_64/mailbox blah

Then in another terminal run "pvget blah" and "pvinfo blah" and see if they
succeed.
