BURT: Back Up and Restore Tool

BURT is a tool for saving the current state of a list of PVs at a given moment and restoring them at a later date. A similar tool exists called Save/Restore that is more recent and may be more useful in some circumstances.

Required Software

Burt requires that the Motif and X11 header files and libraries be available and that the X11 and MOTIF settings in CONFIG_SITE.<host_arch> be set correctly.

Since Burt uses header files and/or libraries from the following extensions, it is necessary that they be downloaded and built first.
