With the command line option "-filter a", alh will initially display only alarm
channels (database records) having active alarms. An alarm channel having an
active alarm is either currently in an alarm state (alarm severity greater than
zero) or has an outstanding unacknowledged alarm. After the initial display of
only channels with active alarms, new channels with alarms that become
active will appear on the display but channels already displayed will not be
removed when their alarms become inactive. It was decided that alh users would
not want alarm groups and channels jumping around on alh displays when one or
more channels go quickly into and out of active alarm state. Alh displays
can be updated to show only channels currently in active alarm state by
selecting the "Setup/Display Filter/Active Alarms Only" menu item.
