Mark is right - my application is using waveform records and I have
tried several different methods using calc, calcout, sel, and seq
records until I arrived at the solution to dynamically switch the links.
The problem is that none of the above mentioned records can handle
arrays (waveforms)...
The solution to use CA in the sCalcout OUT link seems to work well and
I'll continue using that method. I don't really want the users to
directly change the links - that's why I'd prefer to let the sCalcout
record do the job.
Thanks for all your responses!
Cheers,
Ulrik

I believe the application in question was using waveform records, which
cannot be fed into a calc record. They needed to switch the input link
of the waveform record.

Ulrik, Tim,
my first reaction was: why do you want to do this anyway?
Can't you just feed both channels, and a "switch", into a calc record or
some such and switch values?
Is there a good reason to actually switch the input _channel_ rather
than just the value?
Aloha,
Maren
