Hi Nussbaumer
Actually, I'm planting to use StreamDevice in this case. And I'm
already using it to control devices via RS232

The problem here seems that some options when setting up the GPIB port
which will be further refer from StreamDevice, would you mind to offer
some details on the startup script?
