Hi Lucas,

Thanks for the PDF documentation files which are really helpful. After reading ICT_App_User_Guide.pdf, I can make the DMM work with an external trigger.

I revisited the directory dmm7510/documentation. Indeed there is a file missfont.log which has a long list. I installed the cm-super related package, but there are still quite a few other errors. If your time is permitted, I would like you to upload those PDF files to GitHub just in case other people have the same issue of generating them.

The software package, including the StreamDevice-based driver and the CSS OPIs, is comprehensive. There are a few things I would like to discuss with you and your colleagues in private.

2. That seems like something is wrong with the .dbd files. Can you

share with me the compilation log?

Has anyone successfully got a waveform data (100K samples) using an external trigger at 1Hz? If so, what is the trick (which PVs should I pay special attention to)?

I have contacted a few persons privately, including the original developers. But no response yet.

Hi,

I know that there is a streamdevice-based IOC developed by Sirius for the DMM7510 https://github.com/lnls-dig/dmm7510-epics-ioc.

A quick look in the manuals shows me that the 6500 and 7510 are similar enough that you would need small adaptations to get this one working for your model.

Note that this IOC uses the TSP interface and not SCPI, but both models support it.

Does anyone have an EPICS driver for the Keithley DMM6500 Digital Multimeter (Keithley DMM6500 6.5 Digit Multimeter with Graphical Touchscreen | Tektronix)?

My brief search of EPICS Support Modules (anl.gov) didn’t reveal anything, is this still the best place to look?
